The World Traditional Chinese Medicine Frontier Forum was held in Pingshan High-tech Industrial Zone, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, and Fanghua International was invited to participate in this forum. The forum was jointly hosted by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, the People's Government of Pingshan District, Shenzhen, and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. With the theme of "Inheritance, Innovation, Sharing, and Development," the forum focused on topics such as "Leveraging internationally recognized quality standards for traditional Chinese medicine products to promote standardization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine" and "Providing high-quality medical and healthcare services to promote the overseas development of traditional Chinese medicine." It organized various forms of meetings, including high-end academic exchange forums, academician salons, special sub-forums, and roadshows dedicated to innovation and development in the traditional Chinese medicine industry, to build a new platform for comprehensive cooperation among traditional Chinese medicine industries around the world, establish a new pattern of opening up to the outside world under the new normal, and open up a sea route for the Chinese traditional Chinese medicine health service industry to go global. Fanghua International spoke at the forum and received unanimous recognition from the guests, contributing to the development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.
Launching Ceremony of the World Forum on Frontiers of Traditional Chinese Medicine
In his speech, Ma Jianzhong, the Chairman of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, pointed out that the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine faces both opportunities and challenges, and the road ahead is long and arduous. The innovation-driven development of traditional Chinese medicine must grasp the frontier of science and technology, base itself on an international perspective, attach importance to talent cultivation, continuously explore new pathways, and promote the better inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine. Fanghua International has been constantly delving into the innovation of traditional Chinese medicine and has put forward the health concept of "nutritional medicine," breaking the stereotypical image of traditional Chinese medicine with innovative thinking.
The forum featured sections for academician speeches and academician dialogues. The keynote speakers for the academician reports included Academician Zhang Boli, Honorary Dean of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and President of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Academician Liu Huanlan, Academician of the United Nations International Academy of Ecology and Life Sciences; Academician Chen Kaixian, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Academician Yao Xinsheng, Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Jinan University; and Academician Chi Chi-ming, Chair Professor of Chemistry at the University of Hong Kong. The academician dialogue session was co-hosted by Researcher Guo Dean, Executive Chairman of the forum and from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Xu Anlong, President of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The discussion centered around the construction of Pingshan District and the development of traditional Chinese medicine in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Over 120 renowned experts, leaders, and luminaries in the field of traditional Chinese medicine from 15 countries and regions worldwide attended the forum. They delivered fascinating reports across six sub-forums: the Frontier Forum on Innovation and Industrial Development of Chinese Materia Medica; the Frontier Forum on Basic and Clinical Research in Traditional Chinese Medicine; the Frontier Forum on Exploration of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Efficacy and Mechanisms; the Frontier Forum on Ethno-medicine and Health Industry; the Special Roadshow on Innovation and Development of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry; and the Special Session on Experience Sharing and Future Strategies of Leading Enterprises in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
